Description

Short dress in gingham cotton with large pink and ecru checks. A design for those nostalgic for the 60s, Saint-Tropez and Brigitte Bardot! You'll love the soft fabric and the loose fit created by the gathers supported by the front and back panels. We love the elasticated balloon sleeves with a ruffled effect at the bottom, the natural mother-of-pearl buttons on the front and the flat collar embellished with a small ruffle. Then there are the details that make this dress unique: the hand-embroidered flowers on the buttons, the croquet braid marking the yoke cut in the opposite direction to the bias-cut skirt. The dress is fully lined and assembled using English stitching. It can be worn as a short dress or as a tunic over trousers or leggings.
